WHY NOT

Why not live the life you dream of living. We only get one chance. I have been doing a lot of wrestling with the idea that a lot of people are able to function without dreaming, how is this possible? I have been a creative dreamer since the day my mom put legos in front of me, since my dad would come home from his job in the construction industry smelling like work. I loved that scent, of metal, wood, dirty hours of building this world if only a small piece of it. I have been living the past 9 months in a boxing ring with dreaming, being almost knocked out by its awareness of my own emptiness. Not the kind of emptiness you get with loss or depression, sadness or guilt, but the "almost" kind of emptiness that I have had since almost finishing school in a major that didnt suit me. One that could never fulfill my creative nature. All that has changed! I have been creating, building, dreaming! My apartment is filling up with my designs, and my future is calling me to it and showing me a path. Thank God! I am about to begin the end of my bachelors degree through the Industrial Design major at The Art Institute of Santa Ana. A three year end which, cliches welcomed, is quite the begining. What you will see here in my "living room" is progress... More to be built

Since January 2010 I have been designing Furniture and Accessories with the intent to be the Interior designer of my own apartment, as opposed to allowing the "already thought of" be the supplier. This will now be my online living room.
